Circulation Policies and Procedures
Students may check out 1 book at a time. Students may keep the book for up to 2 weeks before it is considered late.
** If a break is upcoming and a student feels the need to check out more than 1 book they may ask permission to do so.**
Books on CD:
The Library has a number of books that are available on CD. If a student would like to check out the CD to go along with the book they are interested in they may do so.
In such case students will be responsible for both checked out materials.
William James is very fortunate in the amount of technology they have available per student.
The library opens at 7:10 each morning and students are welcomed to use the desktops for research, homework help, or gaming.
The library also has laptops and tablets that are available for class use. If a student damages the material they are financially responsible for the device.
I strive to not charge students late fees. I print off a list of overdue materials prior to each extended break and "chase" students down to retrieve the materials.
Students will however be fined if the material is lost or damaged. In such cases students will no be allowed to check-out any other materials until their debt is paid.
